Job Title: Executive Chef

Milestones Grill & Bar is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and banquets, including menu planning and execution
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs, ensuring profitability and quality
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient operations
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Recruit and hire staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality presentation
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of communication
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
