Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker who is passionate about enhancing the lives of individuals through personalized support and engagement. This role involves working closely with clients to foster independence and promote a vibrant lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare healthy and nutritious meals tailored to individual preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized living environment through light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Encourage and facilitate physical activities, including walks, yoga, and dance, to promote well-being.
  • Assist clients with engaging in creative activities such as crafts.
  • Support clients in maintaining connections with their friends and family through various communication methods.

Work Environment

This position is based in a supportive and collaborative environment, reporting directly to the Manager.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is between $23.50 and $25.75 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Training and Qualifications

While experience in sign language is beneficial, training will be provided. Candidates should possess the ability to motivate and engage others, as well as proficiency in basic computer skills.

Work Schedule

The expected hours of work include a combination of daytime and overnight shifts, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
