Community Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a Community Support Specialist to join our team at Spectrum Society for Community Living. The successful candidate will work with an individual who requires support with daily living tasks, including showering, cooking, and household chores.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support with daily living tasks, such as showering, cooking, and household chores
- Accompany the individual to social events and appointments
- Assist with transportation using a scooter
- Support the individual in maintaining their independence
Requirements
- Ability to motivate and encourage the individual
- Computer proficiency, including email and internet usage
- Training will be provided
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will work 16 hours per week, with flexible hours to accommodate the individual's schedule.
