Estimation Specialist in Mechanical Services

As our Estimation Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

Focusing on the cross-referencing of plumbing and mechanical components; Translating written specifications and architectural drawings into detailed estimates; Serving as the primary liaison between ATS and a network of industry professionals; Offering customer support and technical insights regarding products and their applications; Preparing comprehensive mechanical and architectural estimates for commercial undertakings across North America; Conducting research and evaluation to align products with customer needs and ensure compliance with local building codes, accessibility standards, and other regulations; Engaging in continuous learning about product offerings through daily responsibilities and in-house training sessions; Performing additional tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience in a relevant field is preferred; Familiarity with plumbing and mechanical products; Exceptional organizational abilities, tech-savvy, and meticulous attention to detail; Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in English; Background in data entry, analysis, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Professional demeanor and appearance;

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in architectural or MEP sales, customer service, quotations, or inside sales; A background in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of Building Codes; Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of plumbing systems; Experience in HVAC systems.
