Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at 633962 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Debris and Trash: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs, support social and labour market integration, recruit newcomers and refugees, offer mentorship programs, and provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, provide cultural competency training, facilitate access to Elders, and create a welcoming work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 hours per week.
