About the Opportunity
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, meals, and mobility as per work assignments.
- Facilitate social, spiritual, and intellectual activities for residents.
- Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, service areas, and common household spaces.
- Administer medications to residents as assigned, following the direction of the Resident Services Coordinator/Manager and adhering to all medication management policies and guidelines.
- Perform all duties in alignment with Shannex's Philosophy of Service: Your life. Your choice. Your Home.
- Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to the Supervisor.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, you bring:
- Valid post-secondary education in a related field.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening.
- Previous training in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care is considered an asset.
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification is required.
