Job Title: Director, Facilities Management Projects

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Facilities Management Projects team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for all stages of the design and construction of approved capital projects across Fraser Health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and effective direction for all stages of the design and construction of approved capital projects
  • Oversee all aspects of project management, budget control, procurement strategies, contract negotiations, and dispute resolutions
  • Develop and implement policies, requirements, and approvals to enable successful project implementation
  • Liaise with senior leaders, governments, agencies, and external stakeholders to represent Fraser Health interests
  • Lead a team of project management and administrative staff to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Requirements:
  • Master's degree and professional designation in a relevant discipline
  • 10 years of recent, related experience in progressively more complex senior leadership roles in a large multi-site organization
  • Demonstrated ability to align optimal building technologies with evidence-based design, industry best practices, and healthy & sustainable environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge of facilities development, including planning, design, construction, contract management, and procurement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead self and others, plan, forecast, manage, implement, organize, and problem-solve at a senior level
