Position Overview

As a Technical Support Specialist at CompassTech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operation of our computer systems and networks. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to computer networks for users.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of computer systems and networks.
  • Assist users facing challenges with their computer systems.
  • Utilize user guides, technical manuals, and other resources to research and implement effective solutions.
  • Offer guidance and training to users based on identified issues.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for reference by other technical support analysts.
  • Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to their needs.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and relevant software.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage incidents effectively to ensure timely resolution.
Technical Proficiencies
  • Familiarity with Android and device drivers.
  • Knowledge of networking hardware and security.
  • Understanding of Internet protocols and servers.
  • Proficiency in desktop applications and security software.
  • Experience with MS Active Directory, MS Office, and MS Windows.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and wireless networks.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
Transportation Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and own vehicle is preferred.
  • Public transportation options are available.
