Psychologist (Masters) - Wood Street Center - Mental Health & Addictions

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Wood Street Centre Residential Treatment. As a Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized treatment plans for youth with complex behavioral and emotional challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology, be registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners, and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health, with a strong background in trauma-informed care. Experience in the assessment and treatment of youth with significant emotional and behavioral disorders is essential.
About the TeamOur team at Wood Street Centre Residential Treatment is dedicated to providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to youth and their families. We are a collaborative and supportive team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a Psychologist, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including youth workers, social workers, teachers, registered nurses, occupational therapists, and clinical directors, to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
About the OpportunityThis is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. The successful candidate will be eligible for our benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan. We offer a competitive salary range of $37.31 - $49.05 hourly, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
