Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software systems to support the development of our AAA mobile game, Rainbow Six Mobile.

Responsibilities

  • System Design and Development
    • Design and implement software systems to support the technology and tech consistent with the design of the Rainbow Six brand
    • Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets performance, readability, and maintainability requirements
  • Issue Resolution
    • Promptly address any issues and bugs to minimize disruptions and maintain a smooth game development workflow
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Support the production teams by ensuring the stability and proper functioning of their systems and tools
    • Ensure seamless integration of these systems with our game engine, editor, or middleware while maximizing their efficiency
  • Technology Innovation
    • Propose new technologies to improve video game production pipelines
    • Use reverse engineering to get tools and technologies realigned with the game's direction

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software programming experience
  • Strong proficiency in C#
  • Experience with Unity or other game engines
  • Experience in tool design and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Windows Presentation Foundation WPF
  • Knowledge of networking protocols
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Perforce or Git
  • Game development experience - hobby or professional
  • Strong understanding of software development processes
  • Experience with profiling tools
