Opportunity Overview The Winnipeg office is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing project priorities and ensuring alignment with broader objectives. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding teams toward successful outcomes while maintaining clear communication with clients, consultants, and contractors. You will adeptly manage multiple projects and be involved in some of the most significant engineering initiatives in the nation.

Manage design reviews in relation to construction budgets and existing installations. Prepare calculations and select equipment, delegating tasks to designers and CAD technicians as necessary. Ensure effective coordination among internal and external project teams. Review all project deliverables for accuracy and completeness at various stages. Uphold company standards for project administration and documentation. Act as contract administrator for designated projects when required. Oversee the shop drawing review process to meet project timelines. Collaborate with the contract administration team on drawing reviews and site activities. Prepare and review change notices related to contract administration. Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within the allocated hours/fees. Address technical and financial inquiries related to projects. Keep the Principal-in-charge informed of any changes in project scope. Support accounts receivable processes. Liaise with external consultants and vendors to facilitate project delivery. Organize and participate in client meetings, delivering presentations as needed. Candidate Profile Minimum five years of project engineering experience in mechanical building services. Current P.Eng. designation or eligibility within one year; senior C.E.T. with equivalent experience may also be considered. Strong knowledge of provincial building codes, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards. Ability to communicate codes and standards effectively to all project stakeholders. Understanding of project procurement methodologies and their application. Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently. Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, fostering positive client and staff relations. Experience collaborating with consultants and contractors on major projects. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
