We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Manager, Commercial Banking to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Commercial Banking and Private Banking sector, you will be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of business clients in the Montreal region.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop business opportunities in your market, increase your commercial client base, and establish business development strategies
- Help your clients achieve their business objectives by proposing financial strategies based on the most suitable combination of Bank products and services
- Meet clients' changing needs by adapting and optimizing financial products and advice/approaches
- Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements with clients, while ensuring they meet risk management standards and profitability criteria
- Develop and implement business development plans
- Collaborate with the Regional Vice-President to achieve business objectives
- Work closely with the Manager – Financing Solutions
- Participate in various networking activities to build relationships with clients and partners
- Collaborate with other departments within the Bank to provide seamless service to clients
You will join a dynamic team of professionals who support business clients and work closely with an ecosystem of specialists, including financing solutions managers, to offer tailored solutions to clients.
Requirements- At least 5 to 9 years' experience in sales and business development within the financial industry
- University certificate and 9 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree and 7 years' experience
- Master's degree and 5 years' experience
- Experience in sales and business development
- Experience in financial statement analysis
- Experience in commercial credit
- A network of professional contacts among local medium-sized enterprises and large companies, an asset
