About the Role

We are a leading insurance and financial services firm seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Financial Services Sales Representative. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in establishing strategic and marketing initiatives around life and health insurance, driving sales and service of life and health insurance products, and identifying new opportunities to grow our life and health book of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our Manager and Agent to develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance and financial needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with our team to educate clients on multi-line sales and deliver a 5-star sales and service experience.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals, including cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Manage a client contact program to enhance our customers' insurance and financial experience.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about insurance options and provide recommendations.
Requirements
  • Ability to advise and help households manage risk and uncertainty.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing business targets and sales.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to team members and clients.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to motivate and lead others, with strong leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media and technology, with the ability to leverage these tools to drive business growth.
Qualifications
  • Life/Accident and Sickness license.
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
  • Management and sales experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Educations in a related field, such as business or finance.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
  • Previous experience in various property and casualty disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales, or service, would be an asset.
