We are seeking a seasoned HR/P&O Business Partner who is innovative, collaborative, composed, customer-focused, and a proactive problem-solver with a robust work ethic. This position will also involve supporting our employees and collaborating with the Country P&O manager to enhance employee initiatives.

The role will be primarily remote, with flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

The HR/P&O Business Partner will support our Global Strategy & Marketing divisions and their leadership teams. This influential position requires the ability to act as a change agent and trusted advisor to senior management. Key attributes for success include flexibility and a willingness to collaborate across organizational boundaries. The selected candidate will have significant autonomy to provide essential HR support to their business units, working closely with other Business Partners in our People & Organization function.

  1. Build strong working relationships and credibility by gaining a deep understanding of the business and demonstrating a strategic, results-oriented mindset.
  2. Translate business objectives into people and organization strategies by identifying priority needs and effectively partnering with business units and the HR Business Partner team.
  3. Influence employee-related outcomes that align with business goals, leveraging your expertise and knowledge of company policies and practices.
  4. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, and other specialized functions to assist managers in fulfilling their talent requirements.
  5. Ensure that global business needs are addressed at the segment level through collaboration with People & Organization Country Managers.
  6. Provide effective coaching to managers on team and employee development, as well as performance management to achieve business objectives.
  7. Address employee concerns promptly, investigate as necessary, and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance with legal standards and alignment with company values.
  8. Support the implementation of People & Organization processes and programs, including annual compensation planning and special projects.
  9. Utilize change management expertise to facilitate and manage transitions, from reporting changes to larger organizational actions.
  10. Assist employees and advocate for a productive, equitable, and enjoyable work environment.
  11. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service delivery and program implementation. Strive for excellence in both personal and team outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous
  • 8+ years of experience as an HR Manager/Business Partner
  • Exceptional communication and influencing abilities
  • Proven track record as a collaborative team player
  • Preferred experience in:
  • Supporting global business units directly or through collaboration with HR partners
  • Working in the technology sector
  • Large corporate environments (10,000+ employees)
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Understanding of US employment law and HR practices
  • Significant experience in program management and managing complex projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global and virtual teams effectively
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment policies and practices
