Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Boston Pizza Vermilion is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage servers, kitchen and food service helpers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit accurate reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, client focus, flexibility, and team player attitude.

Working Conditions:

  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: Permanent position.
