Position Overview

The role of a Room Cleaning Specialist involves maintaining cleanliness and order in guest accommodations, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish various floor surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean furniture to maintain a pristine appearance.
  • Textile Care: Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered items to ensure cleanliness.
  • Bedding Management: Make beds and change linens regularly.
  • Supply Distribution: Provide clean towels and toiletries as needed.
  • Linen Management: Stock and organize the linen closet efficiently.
  • Sanitation Duties: Disinfect operating rooms and other essential areas to promote health and safety.
  • Elevator Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in elevators through regular disinfection.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report items that are lost or found within the premises.
  • Guest Assistance: Attend to guests' requests for additional supplies or items.
  • Waste Management: Collect debris and empty trash containers to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Changing Room Maintenance: Clean and sanitize changing rooms and showers.
Work Environment

This position requires:

  • Repetitive tasks that demand physical stamina.
  • Attention to detail in all cleaning activities.
  • Physical capabilities including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
Qualifications
  • No formal education is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
