Job Summary:
As a Commercial Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services to our clients in a timely and efficient manner. You will work independently, managing your own schedule and equipment, and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial cleaning services to multiple smaller locations, including offices, manufacturing plants, restaurants, clinics, gyms, and professional offices.
- Use light and heavy floor cleaning equipment, including buffers and shampoo machines, to clean floors and other surfaces.
- Vacuum rugs and carpets, and spot clean and shampoo as needed.
- Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces.
- Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows.
- Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior, and wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate.
- Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies.
- Monitor and report possible defects, such as clogged urinals and non-working lights.
- Collect building trash daily and place it in approved containers for subsequent removal.
- Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers as required.
Requirements:
- Able to communicate in English.
- Must be able to lift 40lbs regularly.
- Must have own transportation and minimum equipment.
- Must be able to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively.
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
- Use a portable vacuum cleaner - backpack style (or other) as needed.
- Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
