Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team at Squamish Shell. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within retail
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and guide staff, including apprentices and team members
  • Delegate tasks to sales personnel effectively
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new employees
  • Facilitate professional development and training sessions
  • Authorize financial transactions
  • Design and implement displays for promotional events
  • Manage inventory and merchandise procurement
  • Create work schedules and address any operational challenges
  • Maintain organized inventory systems
  • Contribute to the design of settings, costumes, and lighting for events
