Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Headwaters Health Care Centre. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing expert care to our patients, helping them to achieve their goals and regain independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote functional independence, mobility, and safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Develop and implement plans of care, modifying as necessary to meet patient needs.
- Supervise and educate Occupational Therapy Assistants and students as needed.
- Participate in departmental and hospital activities, projects, and committees.
- BScOT/MScOT or equivalent required.
- Registered and licensed with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute and/or rehabilitation hospital environment preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hand therapy and splinting required.
- Hand Specialist Certification preferred.
