About the Role

The Tower Crane Rigger is a critical member of our team at Syber Concrete Forming Ltd, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tower cranes on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely attach loads to rigging equipment to provide support or prepare them for moving
  • Control the movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces using chain falls with various types of tables
  • Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use
  • Work closely with crane operators to coordinate daily operations via radio and hand signals
  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, and in adverse weather conditions
  • Must be able to climb scaffolding, ladders, and carry at least 50 pounds of weight
  • Must have personal protection equipment (PPE) and demonstrate safety awareness at all times
  • Must have fall protection gear and the appropriate ticket (training will be provided)
  • Knowledge and ability to comply with all WorkSafe (WCB) procedures and safety practices
  • Must have reliable transportation to job sites
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with flying various types of tables is an asset
  • Commercial and/or infrastructure construction experience, including formwork, is considered an asset
  • Capacity to remain calm and respond effectively in a variety of situations
  • Peri/Doka Fork experience is an asset
  • Pinch method with various types of tables
