Job Title: Janitor SupervisorWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitor Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Task Management: Coordinate and manage the cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the required standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our cleaning services, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Workplace Information: This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel to various locations.
- Language Training: We provide language training to support the integration of newcomers and refugees into our team.
- Credential Recognition: We assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to help them access better job opportunities.
- Mentorship Programs: We offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees, providing guidance and support.
- Cross-Cultural Training: We provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
- Mentorship and Coaching: We offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to help them advance in their careers.
- Cultural Competency Training: We provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Elder Support: We facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
- Hiring Policies: We apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
- Mentorship Programs: We offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
- Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: We provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
