About the Role

Hoffman's Building Maintenance Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning staff and ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Schedules: Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned regularly and efficiently.
  • Inspect Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our cleaning standards are being met.
  • Manage Budgets: Prepare and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services to ensure that we are operating within our means.
  • Coordinate Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as needed to maintain our facilities.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff performance, and budget expenditures.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our cleaning operations are aligned with their needs and goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
Work Environment
  • Work Type: On the road job
