About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Revelstoke Lodge. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance are met.
  • Assist with Daily Operations: Assist housekeeping staff with their duties as needed, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week
