Housekeeping Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at STOKE MOTEL. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Plan and coordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any issues or concerns.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate in-house laundry services to ensure timely and efficient processing of linens and uniforms.
  • Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of organization.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
