Position Overview
A Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) role is currently available within the Interior Health Authority. This is a permanent part-time position with a commitment of 0.68 full-time equivalent (FTE). The work schedule includes rotating days, evenings, and nights.

Key Responsibilities
As an MLT, you will be part of a collaborative team environment, performing a variety of tasks within your designated department. Your duties will encompass:
- Conducting routine and/or complex laboratory tests using both manual techniques and automated equipment.
- Inputting data into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and associated programs.
- Validating and documenting test outcomes.
- Maintaining laboratory instruments and preparing necessary solutions and control agents.
- Participating in training, evaluation, and enhancement initiatives.

About the Work Environment
The Interior Health Authority operates a 75-bed acute care facility with a medium-sized laboratory that provides Core Lab, Microbiology, Histology, and Pathology services. The laboratory is recognized as a regional referral site for specialized testing, supported by a cohesive team of Medical Technologists and Laboratory Assistants across various disciplines.
