Veterinary Animal Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technologist to join our team at Tanglefoot Veterinary Services Ltd. as a key member of our veterinary care team. As a Veterinary Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our animal patients and their owners. Your expertise in animal handling, laboratory testing, and medical procedures will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Animal Care: Provide exceptional care to animals in our clinic, including handling, restraining, and administering medications and vaccines.
- Laboratory Testing: Collect samples and perform laboratory tests to help diagnose and treat animal health conditions.
- Dental Care: Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry.
- Clinic Support: Assist veterinarians with surgery, provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy, and counsel clients on animal health care.
In addition to your technical skills, you will also provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic. Requirements:- Registration: Registration by a provincial or territorial, or regional association as a Registered Animal Health Technologist or Registered Veterinary Technician.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
