Job Summary

As a key member of the Environmental & Social Risk Measurement & Analytics team within Group Risk Management at Royal Bank of Canada, you will play a critical role in identifying, measuring, monitoring, and mitigating environmental and social risks. Your expertise will support the design and implementation of effective risk management strategies, ensuring the bank's commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop recommendations for mitigating environmental and social risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk management strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry partners
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in environmental and social risk management
Requirements
  • Proven experience in environmental risk management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
