**Colchester East Hants Health Centre (CEHHC)** is seeking a skilled Hospitalist to join their team in Truro, Nova Scotia. As a Hospitalist, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide full scope of practice as a Hospitalist, including inpatient care and participating in call.
- Collaborate with the Zone Department Head of Family Practice to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to Medical Staff Bylaws.
**About the Role:**
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Hospitalist, you will have the opportunity to engage in research and/or medical teaching positions with Dalhousie University, if desired.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
The current remuneration arrangement includes a set daily rate as per the provincial hospitalist agreement, plus a stipend and fee-for-service billings for on-call work. Scheduling is flexible, with options for full-time and part-time positions.
**About the Facility:**
Colchester East Hants Health Centre is a 81-91 bed acute care facility that serves the residents of Colchester and East Hants Counties. The facility offers a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, and satellite services, including emergency medicine, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory services.
**Qualifications:**
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
