We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist to join our team at Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro, Nova Scotia. As a Hospitalist, you will provide high-quality patient care, participate in call, and engage in research and/or medical teaching positions with Dalhousie University, if desired.
Responsibilities- Provide full scope of practice as a Hospitalist, caring for patients within the Northern Zone and participating in call.
- Be responsible to the Zone Department Head of Family Practice for professional responsibilities and quality of practice, operating within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Full-time: 7 full days on, 7 days off, working approximately 24 weeks per year.
- Part-time: flexible scheduling, including 7 days per month, 14 days per month of half days, or 7 days per quarter.
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
