We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro, Nova Scotia. As a Hospitalist, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients within the Northern Zone and participate in call. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage in research and/or have medical teaching positions with Dalhousie University, should that be of interest.
Responsibilities- Provide full scope of practice as a Hospitalist, including care to patients within the Northern Zone and participation in call.
- Be responsible to the Zone Department Head of Family Practice for professional responsibilities and quality of practice, operating within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available.
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
