Job Summary

The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre is seeking a highly skilled Prevention and Screening Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Prevention and Screening Clinical Services team, you will provide critical support to our manager and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services for cancer screening, assessment, and clinical pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operation and supervision of a diverse portfolio, including the mobile cancer screening coach, clinical genetics program, and diagnostic assessment program.
  • Support processes and deliverables for high-quality service delivery, adhering to Ontario Health partners' requirements, standards, and guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal and regional partners, vendors, and provincial and national agencies to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care and support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in health or business administration or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of healthcare-related experience.
  • Valid G driver's license.
  • Prior outpatient clinic management experience or strong knowledge base in clinical systems is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to navigate electronic health information and client management systems.
  • Proven leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Time management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
