Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team at Road Runner Freight Inc.. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of driving experience is preferred.
Work Environment

The job will be conducted in a dusty environment, requiring attention to vehicle maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate repair costs and assess the need for new parts.
  • Plan travel routes and make necessary reservations.
  • Drive as part of a team or in a convoy.
  • Operate lighter, specialized trucks.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently.
  • Inspect vehicle conditions, including tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Perform necessary brake adjustments.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Handle and transport hazardous materials safely.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must possess an AZ class license.
  • Air Brakes Endorsement is required.
Transportation Requirements

A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.

Language Requirements

Fluency in English is necessary for effective communication.
