Long Haul Truck Driver

iHaul Freight Limited is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from our tractor-trailers, ensuring that all cargo is properly secured and accounted for.
- Operate and Drive Trucks: Drive our tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain our vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment, to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that our vehicles are safe and compliant with regulations.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to our central dispatch team, ensuring that all cargo and vehicle information is accurately recorded and communicated.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Will train
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week
