Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President, Asset Management to join our team at clevelcrossing - Jobboard. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with our Treaty broking team to develop new contacts and build relationships with clients and prospects that align with our Facultative business targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 7 to 12 years broking and/or underwriting commercial lines experience, with a focus on property insurance
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance (previous experience in reinsurance is an asset)
  • Excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing) with internal and external clients
  • Strong organization and time management skills, able to multi-task and manage projects
  • Previous formal or informal experience in managing teams or direct reports
  • Is recognized as an expert with top-notch client relationship management capabilities
  • Ability to embrace change in support of the business unit's and company's goals
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products with ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applications
  • Bilingual is an asset
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property and casualty insurance, with a proven track record of success in developing and maintaining client relationships. They will be a strong communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
