Job Title: EXCEL Group Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Group Leader to join our EXCEL program team. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading before and after school programs for elementary age students in various locations throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead before and after school programs for elementary age students
  • Develop and implement engaging and educational activities
  • Supervise and support students during program activities
  • Collaborate with other program staff to ensure a positive and inclusive program environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year's experience working with elementary age students
  • Knowledge of recreational programming
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent
Assets:
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
