Job Title: Associate, Investment Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate, Investment Operations to join our team at RPIA. As a key member of our investment operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our investment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily operations functions, including sending and receiving wires, resolving cash and position breaks, and supporting the product lifecycle of securities.
  • Support daily and monthly cash forecasting and funding of portfolios.
  • Manage all aspects of operations and controls, including trade processing, minimizing operational risk, and responding to internal and external inquiries.
  • Assist in derivative operations by reviewing and investigating settlement issues.
  • Maintain ongoing collaborative working relationships with counterparties, prime brokers, and custodians.
  • Proactively recommend process improvements to current operational procedures.
  • Respond to ad-hoc projects in addition to day-to-day duties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in hedge fund operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Advanced MS Excel skills, VBA, and Python scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of the financial markets, with an emphasis on fixed-income products.
