Learning Commons Facilitator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Learning Commons Facilitator. This role will provide support to students and staff in locating materials and using technology and other learning commons resources.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advisory support to students and staff in locating materials and using technology and other learning commons resources.
- Collaborate with Administration and/or the school-based Learning Commons Committee in the selection and acquisition of materials for the learning commons.
- Support literacy, numeracy, competency development, and student learning outcomes by providing access to print and digital resources.
- Work collaboratively to create an environment that is available to individuals and groups to use for multiple, often simultaneous, purposes.
- Post-secondary diploma and related experience.
- Proof of Grade 12 or General Educational Development (GED).
- Assets: Post-secondary diploma in Library and Information Technician with some related experience.
