Job Title: Senior Architect Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect Associate to join our team at IBI Group. As a key member of our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division, you will be responsible for leading and managing large, complex projects and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large, complex projects and project teams
  • Develop and implement design principles to guide projects from conception to completion
  • Collaborate with practice leaders and colleagues to enhance our Transit Architecture Studio's culture for design excellence
  • Lead Business Development efforts
  • Client-facing role with direct interaction with clients

Requirements:

  • Minimum University Degree in Architecture and OAA Registered Architect
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in an architectural studio and minimum 5 years' experience in leading project teams and managing large, complex interdisciplinary projects
  • Must be an experienced people manager
  • Experience with Transit and alternative project delivery models
  • Knowledge in Transit Agency policies around the development of transit stations and transit-oriented communities
  • Understanding the role of developers in transit projects
  • Competent knowledge of building codes and specifications
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and detail-oriented
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver
