About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Service Specialist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development and implementation of clinical practices and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical practices and processes to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders, IT staff, and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide oversight and facilitation of quality improvement changes, including data analysis and reporting
  • Serve as a liaison and change agent for clinical care areas, departments, and units
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical educators, end-users, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Travel to Northern Health facilities as required to support quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare discipline
  • Relevant professional development in process improvement, change management, IT, project management, group facilitation, and coaching
  • Five to seven years of experience in front-line clinical care and related experience working in clinical operations and EMR use
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Ability to apply change management and transformation techniques and practices
