We are a specialized care agency founded in 2011, managing complex care facilities for adults and youth throughout Canada. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients.

This position is a key member of our leadership team, working in partnership with our head office to support two care facilities in Inuvik, caring for adults with mental and physical challenges.

Job Summary:

The Care Manager is responsible for the oversight, administration, and management of services delivered in a Shift residential care program. This includes creating a safe, stimulating, and client-centered environment, maintaining a high standard of care, and ensuring robust cultural experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement daily programming, ensuring a warm and supportive environment in the facility.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to build a robust and highly functioning staff team.
  • Work directly with stakeholders, partners, and families to build a network of wraparound support and care for our clients.
  • Act as a role model amongst the team, ensuring protocols are being followed and communicating with head office regularly.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule and be involved in the lives of the clients as an active participant and role model.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a diploma or degree in a related human services field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' related experience in a continuing care environment + two (2) years' experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Class 5 (restriction free) driver's license and a clear driver's abstract.

Compensation:

  • $45.00/hour + Seven Dollar Per Hour Northern Allowance based on 40 hours per week.
  • Additional travel support may be available for anyone relocating to Inuvik.
  • Health benefits package.
