Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, with a focus on South Indian cuisine. This is a permanent position, requiring a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Recruit and hire staff, ensuring a diverse and skilled team.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Fluency in English, with a strong understanding of culinary terminology.
