Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Operations Specialist to join our team at Time 2 DryClean & Tailor Shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile care and finishing, ensuring high-quality service to our customers.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Work Environment
  • Conditions may be hot and noisy
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various machines including dry-cleaning and washing machines, dryers, and blow-drying equipment
  • Hand fold and package garments, linens, and other items
  • Utilize finishing equipment such as steam pressers and hand irons to finalize garments
  • Assemble and package completed items for customer pickup
  • Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Match invoices or tags with processed items
  • Use a hand-held steam iron for final touches on garments
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
Experience Requirements
  • General dry cleaning
  • Spotting techniques (both pre and post)
Equipment Proficiency
  • Dry-cleaning machines
  • Hand-held steam irons
  • Shirt pressers
  • Steam press machines
  • Washing machines
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
