Sobeys Inc. is a leading Canadian retailer with a commitment to excellence and community impact. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at our Fort St. John Safeway Pharmacy.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity to provide exceptional patient-centered care and exceed patients' expectations. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for clinical services, patient care, and customer service. You will work collaboratively with our pharmacy team to provide a personalized experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services, including chronic health condition monitoring and management, medication reviews, health risk assessments, prescription renewals or modifications, minor ailments, or other prescribing services.
  • Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete associated documentation.
  • Collect relevant patient, drug, and medical condition information.
  • Identify and resolve actual and potential drug-related problems.
  • Monitor and optimize medication adherence.
  • Provide patient counseling that is tailored to the needs and concerns of the patient.
  • Understand all pharmacy offerings and provide each patient with a personalized interaction and intervention if appropriate.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.
  • Authorization to Administer Injections.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

The salary range for this position in British Columbia is $51.50 - $62.90. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience, and skills as well as internal equity and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
