Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Willowbrae Academy Bayview Village. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children
    • Establish a safe and healthy environment that encourages children to explore and learn
    • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team
  • Program Planning and Implementation
    • Plan and lead activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development in children
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement programs that meet the needs of diverse learners
    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive environment
    • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ideas for program improvement
    • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in early childhood education or a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Security and Safety
    • Basic security clearance
    • Criminal record check
    • Medical exam
