Client Overview: Our client is at the forefront of revolutionizing the gaming industry. They are concentrating on online MMO games that operate entirely on-chain. They have developed a World Engine, a sophisticated server architecture that empowers developers to create fully on-chain games designed for high computational demands.
Candidate Qualifications- Proven experience in developing backend services using Go, Java, or JavaScript.
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiplayer networking frameworks and various client-server synchronization techniques.
- Proficiency in Unity and C# programming.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK).
- Skilled in leveraging APM and other observability tools to troubleshoot backend service challenges and enhance performance.
- Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies (GitHub Action, Jenkins, etc.).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience in developing and launching an MMO game.
- Background in creating high-performance multithreaded game servers from the ground up.
- Knowledge of data-oriented programming principles.
- Experience in constructing and managing distributed and fault-tolerant systems under production loads.
- In-depth understanding of the Ethereum blockchain technology.
Compensation Package: $150,000 - $250,000 base salary plus equity options.
