Game Development Director

We are seeking an experienced people leader to drive software and game quality as the Open World game project lead at Electronic Arts Inc.
As a key member of our team, you will provide operational leadership for the Quality Verification department, comprising management, quality design, engineering, and analytics.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing planning across all development stages from pre-production to live services.
- Scope and capacity management across Quality Verification.
- Overall Open World project risk management and reporting.
- Creating scenarios and guiding decision-making processes for our Open World title.
- Improving operational effectiveness by assessing current practices, incorporating new strategies, and increasing predictability.
- Effective change management, embracing change as an opportunity to drive strategic business-impacting change.
Your primary people management responsibilities will be:
- Mentoring and supporting other leaders across disciplines, building and mentoring teams.
- Identifying resourcing needs, guiding talent development, and evolving talent skill mix.
- Coordinating talent management and succession planning.
- Promoting a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Requirements and Expectations:
- 3+ years of applicable Open World games work experience.
- 5+ years of project management or team leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing people, including managing managers.
- 3+ years of experience leading and growing teams building Open World games.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of software quality assurance and software development lifecycle practices.
- University Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
