Job Title: Lead, Facilities Planner

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead, Facilities Planner to join our team. As a key member of our facilities planning team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our healthcare facilities meet the needs of our patients, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and documentation of space and infrastructure requirements for healthcare facilities.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in clinical facilities design, working closely with clinical operations leaders and design consultants.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to identify program and service requirements, and develop functional programs for complex and multiple clinical services.
  • Work with design consultants and external stakeholders to plan and design the built environment for healthcare service delivery, ensuring that corporate standards are met.
  • Identify and coordinate key partner strategies, and lead clinical partners in the planning and design of facilities.
  • Facilitate the development of clinical service delivery operation models and operational parameters required for functional programming.
  • Conduct post-occupancy evaluation of the built environment to assess the impact on organizational objectives for clinical service delivery and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical health science discipline.
  • Seven years of recent related facility clinical planning experience in a large complex multi-site healthcare organization.
  • Two years of leadership experience in the facility clinical planning role of healthcare facilities or healthcare project management.
  • Professional Development Certification in planning and/or programming healthcare build environments.
