We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter and Packaging Expert to join our team at Diana Distribution Center Ltd. as a key member of our Meat Processing Department.
Key Responsibilities- Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Special Cuts and Orders: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, adhering to precise specifications.
- Standard Cuts and Packaging: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, then wrap and package them for distribution.
- Weighing and Pricing: Weigh meats for sale and accurately price meat products.
- Grinding and Slicing: Grind meats and slice cooked meats as required.
- Special Orders and Tasks: Prepare special orders and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Work Site Environment: The role involves working in a cold/refrigerated environment.
- Work Setting: The Meat Processing Department is located within a meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment, serving wholesalers.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: The successful candidate will have experience with manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and maintaining a high level of physical fitness.
- Personal Suitability: We are looking for an accurate, organized, reliable, and team-oriented individual who can work in a permanent position, with a 35-hour workweek, speaking English as the primary work language.
