We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Diana Distribution Center Ltd. as a key member of our meat processing department.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat, as well as wrapping and packaging prepared meats. They will also be required to weigh meats for sale and price meat products.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Weigh meats for sale
- Price meat products
- Grind meats
- Slice cooked meats
- Prepare special orders
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a meat processing environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Ability to handle heavy loads
- Reliability and team player skills
The successful candidate will work in a cold/refrigerated environment with a team of experienced meat cutters and processors.
Language:The primary language of work is English.Work Schedule:
The work schedule is 35 hours per week.
