Job Title: Costing & Estimation Analyst

At Sunrise Farms, we are seeking a highly skilled Costing & Estimation Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our divisional estimation team, you will bring your expertise in cost accounting and financial modeling to drive business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to estimate costs involved in production and delivery of new and existing products.
  • Review and assess product and process requirements to identify cost implications.
  • Develop pricing recommendations based on internal metrics and competitive requirements.
  • Support other functional areas in quantifying cost impacts from product and process design.
  • Validate and source data with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate and monitor projects to achieve customer-focused deadlines.
  • Evaluate and review estimates for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform financial variance review of plant trial performance.
  • Continuously evaluate the cost estimation process for areas of improvement.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for cost control and reduction.
  • Coordinate with finance, procurement, and product development teams to create and update ERP bills of material and routings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
  • Minimum 2 years of cost accounting and/or estimating experience, preferably in a multi-site, multi-sku manufacturing and/or food processing background.
  • Professional designation (CPA) is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, specifically with bills of material, routings, and MRP concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimation/quoting tools.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Team player with exceptional ability to establish and maintain quality relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to deliver results within agreed timelines.
  • High attention to detail.

Salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Sunrise Farms is an equal-opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals. The final offer amount will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
